Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristiano Marques took the kick off in the first half of the match. Oliveira Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Duarte Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristiano Marques, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 5 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Duarte Resende was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristiano Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Duarte Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes SC Capelo got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Fonseca. Oliveira Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Resende having to interfere. Duarte Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Nogueira in the 11th minute of the match. Duarte Resende came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Azambujeira's Cristiano Marques. But to his dismay, Cristiano Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Oliveira Nogueira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SC Capelo's Duarte Resende. Duarte Resende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Neto having to interfere. Daniel Pacheco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Júlio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Capelo's Júlio Costa got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nuno Melo, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Duarte Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Marques in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Marques in the 32nd minute of play forced SC Capelo's goalkeeper Duarte Resende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Alfredo Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Azambujeira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Capelo the free kick. A collision led to SC Azambujeira getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alfredo Sá hit a great ball. SC Azambujeira's Oliveira Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Aguiar took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Neto. Manuel Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Pacheco made a kick off. Duarte Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Oliveira Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Capelo's Duarte Resende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Capelo from getting a goal against them. Daniel Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Neto having to interfere. Cristiano Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Pacheco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Neto was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Daniel Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Neto having to interfere. André Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When SC Capelo's André Aguiar in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Azambujeira's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to SC Azambujeira getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alfredo Sá hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Manuel Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Azambujeira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
