João Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Amadora's zone, Emanuel Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Aguiar came out of the goal and Emanuel Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Barbosa during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, one of Amadora:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Coelheira's Jorge Valente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandre Aguiar. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. If Emanuel Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alexandre Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Amadora getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bernardo Brás hit a great ball. SC Coelheira's Américo Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Coelheira's goalkeeper Bento Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Américo Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Américo Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Américo Almeida made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Coelheira's Sebastião Ramos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 87th minute, Emanuel Machado made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Aguiar. Amadora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Américo Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Brás's late challenge caught a SC Coelheira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Brás helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Américo Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Aguiar. Amadora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Coelheira had played much better football throughout.
