Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sandro Castro got the match started through his kick off. Afonso Neves came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Mogadouro's Joel Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Joel Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Rui Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cubalhao's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Afonso Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Adelino Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filipe Ferro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Neves. Cubalhao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Miguel Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cubalhao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Mogadouro the free kick. In the 44th minute, Miguel Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Ferro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Torres was the one to do the kick off. SC Mogadouro's Gaspar Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Torres in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Rui Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Joel Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Afonso Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Pinheiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Neves having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Cubalhao's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Castro came free, but Afonso Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cubalhao booed when SC Mogadouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Augusto Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gaspar Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
