Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Azerveira's Vítor Vaz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Azerveira got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Leal. Murzeleira FC were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Azerveira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sérgio Dias took the corner. The corner ended in Sérgio Dias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Azerveira's Manuel Maia did a great save. After 10 minutes, Gabriel Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murzeleira FC and the Azerveira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Manuel Veiga, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vítor Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Vaz in the 12th minute of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Vítor Vaz sped through Murzeleira FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vítor Figueiredo. Vítor Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vítor Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Miguel Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Veiga hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sérgio Dias, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Gabriel Macedo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. A collision led to Murzeleira FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gabriel Macedo hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Adelino Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vítor Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusébio Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Azerveira's Manuel Veiga tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Azerveira's Adelino Simões slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vítor Figueiredo. That made the score 0-3 after 53 minutes of play. Vítor Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Vaz in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Murzeleira FC's zone, Vítor Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Figueiredo came out of the goal and Vítor Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Vítor Vaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vítor Figueiredo, 0-5. Adelino Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vítor Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Azerveira's Adelino Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Carvalho in the 81st minute of the match. Luís Amaro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Azerveira's zone, André Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Maia came out of the goal and André Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
