After 7 minutes Macainhas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Martins who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Martins got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomás Amaral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macainhas FC's goalkeeper Tomás Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute Joel Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Macainhas FC's Catarino Setúbal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Guarda in the 25th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bruno Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Catarino Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Gomes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Setúbal in the 63rd minute of play forced Rebolfo FC's goalkeeper Bruno Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Joel Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebolfo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Amaral having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Macainhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Rodrigues came free, but Tomás Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Carlos Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Macainhas FC's Filipe Leão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. António Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Amaral having to interfere.
