Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Pombas's zone, Viriato Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Vale came out of the goal and Viriato Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Viriato Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tomás Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Aguiar in the 15th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Afonso Oliveira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lourencos FC's Francisco Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Oliveira in the 26th minute of play. Lourencos FC's Viriato Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Lourencos FC booed when Pombas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Vale having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pombas defense, Viriato Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Vale. The Pombas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Vale should have stopped the shot. Pombas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Vaz in the 44th minute. Pombas's Joel Vaz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francisco Abreu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gabriel Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Viriato Neves made the kick off in the second half. Tomás Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Neves in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lourencos FC's Viriato Neves got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Afonso Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Oliveira in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Lourencos FC booed when Pombas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Oliveira scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rui Aguiar came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomás Vale could save by the left post. Gabriel Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Afonso Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Afonso Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pombas had won after a very even match.
