Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Covelinhas FC's António Pinheiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Oliveira. Marco Oliveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Rui Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romariz's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Guarda in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 17 minutes on the clock, João Gaspar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Covelinhas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Romariz:s goal. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Romariz. Armando Queirós stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving David Maia. 1-1. Cristóvão Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. David Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romariz's Lucas Guarda got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Neves's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Lucas Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Maia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Moutinho in the 63rd minute of play forced Romariz's goalkeeper Marco Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Romariz's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Moutinho came free, but Marco Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Oliveira having to interfere. In the 80th minute Armando Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Covelinhas FC's zone, Armando Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Maia came out of the goal and Armando Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Sérgio Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
