Delfim Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Trindade having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pacheco in the 16th minute of play forced Forneas FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Alexandre Trindade made a huge save. Diamantino Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Diamantino Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forneas FC. In the 30th minute, André Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rui Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Paulo Pacheco made the kick off in the second half. If Delfim Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Basílio Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Forneas FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Francisco Pinto hit a great ball. Alexandre Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Morais in the 62nd minute of play. André Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Diamantino Freitas made a huge save. After having played for 69 minutes, Paulo Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Malpique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Pacheco took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Trindade. Alexandre Trindade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, SC Malpique's Delfim Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Trindade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eduardo Marques hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. André Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Forneas FC got a freekick which was hit by André Alves. Paulo Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Trindade having to interfere. Diamantino Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
