Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucas Nunes made the kick off which started today's match. Pedro Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Leão having to interfere. Lucas Nunes struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rui Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiolhoso FC. After a defensive mix-up in Segade's zone, Lucas Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Leão came out of the goal and Lucas Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertino Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Matos in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fiolhoso FC's zone, Jorge Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Dantas came out of the goal and Jorge Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Fiolhoso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Matos came free, but Albertino Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Fiolhoso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Segade's zone, Pedro Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Leão came out of the goal and Pedro Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Henriques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When Paulo Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segade's protests and gave Paulo Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Segade getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Paulo Amaro hit a great ball. When Jorge Matos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Segade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Matos couldn't finish the play. Lucas Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Segade players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fiolhoso FC were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Matos was the one to do the kick off. If Lucas Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Henriques in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rui Leão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hugo Assunção could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rui Leão made a huge save. Albertino Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Rui Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Henriques hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Augusto Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Albertino Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Segade. Pedro Henriques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rui Leão made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Nunes in the 85th minute of play forced Segade's goalkeeper Rui Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Leão having to interfere. Augusto Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Albertino Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Nunes in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Fiolhoso FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Segade throughout the match.
