Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) António Cunha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Folgas FC's Hélder Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Cunha in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Cardoso got free with Inácio Marques in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Fernando Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Inácio Marques. SC Soalheiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fernando Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inácio Marques having to make a save. Inácio Marques was a little too slow when Fernando Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 35th minute, Basílio Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basílio Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Cristóvão Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Sá having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Soalheiras's António Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogério Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rogério Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Folgas FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Cunha came free, but Hélder Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Basílio Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Fernando Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Folgas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, Folgas FC's goalkeeper Hélder Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Moniz. André Moutinho hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Inácio Pinheiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inácio Marques skillfully saved the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Basílio Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Soalheiras's Inácio Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Marques having to interfere. António Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hélder Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Soalheiras booed when Folgas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Soalheiras's António Cunha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hélder Sá. That made the score 2-1 after 94 minutes of play. Fernando Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Inácio Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Soalheiras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Folgas FC.
