Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Amorim started the match with the kick off. Manuel Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Tavares having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, SC Novelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Veiga came free, but Paulo Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Novelhos's Paulo Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Veiga in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, SC Novelhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Machado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Tavares. SC Novelhos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adolfo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Humberto Pinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toita FC and the SC Novelhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Novelhos booed when Toita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Toita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Santarém to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Toita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Amorim came free, but Adolfo Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. SC Novelhos's Paulo Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Veiga in the 38th minute of play. Paulo Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Veiga went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Adolfo Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toita FC's Adolfo Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Toita FC from getting a goal against them. When João Santarém fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toita FC's protests and gave João Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th match minute, Toita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Santarém to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Veiga was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Toita FC's zone, Filipe Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Porto came out of the goal and Filipe Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Filipe Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Novelhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Amorim went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lucas Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Manuel Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th play minute Lucas Alves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Tavares. 1-2. Adolfo Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Humberto Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Adolfo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Toita FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
