Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luís Setúbal made the kick off and thus started the match. João Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Setúbal in the 10th minute of the match. Júlio Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Setúbal in the 12th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Luís Setúbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Luís Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Matos during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Madalena getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gabriel Matos hit a great ball. Armindo Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nuno Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Amaro took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Freitas. Júlio Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of SC Madalena booed when Frieira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Viegas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. SC Madalena's Heitor Machado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Frieira.

The wind increased when Armindo Setúbal made the kick off in the second half. If Luís Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Madalena's Vasco Fernandes got a free kick in the 57th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Frieira's Amadeu Resende tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Augusto Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Fonseca having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Nuno Amaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frieira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Vasco Fernandes's late challenge caught a Frieira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. SC Madalena's Júlio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Setúbal in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, SC Madalena's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Setúbal came free, but Júlio Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. SC Madalena's Júlio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Setúbal in the 82nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Frieira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
