André Neves was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Eusébio Ramos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eusébio Ramos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. David Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-1 when David Pires sped through Tornol FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Moura. Lago FC's Rogério Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Moura having to interfere.

The wind increased when Eusébio Ramos made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Pires struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. David Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lago FC. In the 58th minute, Rogério Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Pedro Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Alexandre Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lago FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tornol FC the free kick. In the 65th minute, Alexandre Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Tornol FC's goalkeeper David Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Antunes. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lago FC's goalkeeper André Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lago FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
