Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lourenço Fernandes kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Lourenço Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, SC Pelariga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th match minute, Murriao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. If Miguel Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rodrigo Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the SC Pelariga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Ferro couldn't finish the play. Armando Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Amaral having to interfere. Jaime Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Sandro Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferro in the 32nd minute of play. Murriao's Lourenço Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Armando Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Amaral. SC Pelariga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

If Miguel Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Rodrigo Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pelariga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Ferro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sandro Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Ferro in the 65th minute of play forced Murriao's goalkeeper Sandro Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jorge Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Vicente Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Murriao reached it. Jorge Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pelariga's zone, Armando Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Amaral came out of the goal and Armando Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 minutes, Joel Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murriao and the SC Pelariga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
