Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Balazeima's David Vieira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. André Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Balazeima defense, Manuel Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Oliveira. The Balazeima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Oliveira should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Vieira during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Ardido booed when Balazeima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Cardoso in the 20th minute of play forced Balazeima's goalkeeper Augusto Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led SC Ardido's André Leite to fire away a dangerous shot which Augusto Oliveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Manuel Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Oliveira was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Cláudio Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gonçalo Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After a defensive mix-up in Balazeima's zone, André Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Oliveira came out of the goal and André Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Andrade having to interfere. A collision led to SC Ardido getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eusébio Macedo hit a great ball. Manuel Guarda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gonçalo Andrade. SC Ardido's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. David Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Andrade having to interfere. SC Ardido's Gonçalo Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Vieira in the 68th minute of play. When David Vieira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gonçalo Andrade was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Balazeima's Augusto Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Balazeima from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the game, Xavier Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gonçalo Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Balazeima's Augusto Oliveira got control of the ball when André Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Leite struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Augusto Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ardido. André Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If André Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
