The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Cunha in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Moniz made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Bento Guerreiro sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Barradas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Cunha to make the kick off. The Barradas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
