Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alexandre Fontes took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Alexandre Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hélder Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Pereira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Garcia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Silva in the 18th minute of play. SC Concharra's Armindo Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portelo FC's Basílio Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Armindo Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorge Garcia. The goal made the score 1-0. When Vítor Neto fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Concharra's protests and gave Vítor Neto a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Neto hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Concharra's zone, Alexandre Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Vaz came out of the goal and Alexandre Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armindo Silva struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jorge Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Concharra.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armindo Silva to make the kick off. If Hélder Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Fontes in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 minutes, Luís Trindade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portelo FC and the SC Concharra players grew even worse after the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, SC Concharra's Armindo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder Pereira went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 90 minutes of play, Portelo FC's Daniel Neto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Vaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armindo Silva struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jorge Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Concharra. There was no doubt that SC Concharra were the better team. SC Concharra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
