Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Fontes started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Fontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Pires. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Alexandre Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Afonso Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Soalhais FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nuno Guarda hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Xavier Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Soalhais FC's Vítor Sá got a free kick in the 40th minute. Afonso Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Fontes in the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Afonso Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soalhais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Portelo FC's zone, Xavier Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Garcia came out of the goal and Xavier Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Carneiro in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Portelo FC's Basílio Santos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Afonso Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Alexandre Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soalhais FC's Afonso Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, one of Soalhais FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soalhais FC. After a defensive mix-up in Soalhais FC's zone, Daniel Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Pires came out of the goal and Daniel Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Dias's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Xavier Dias made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Garcia. Portelo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Portelo FC's Alexandre Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Fontes went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 96 minutes, Alexandre Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Portelo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
