Pedro Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If André Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Francisco Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Chascas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Broalhos FC the free kick. In the 14th match minute, SC Chascas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Leite to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, André Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broalhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Cruz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Hélder Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 43 played minutes SC Chascas got a freekick which was hit by António Lima. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Chascas's goalkeeper Filipe Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Luís Matias made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Emanuel Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Chascas's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 77th minute Rodrigo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SC Chascas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
