Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Domingos Melo made the kick off and thus started the match. Emílio Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Resende in the 7th minute. Delfim Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Melo in the 8th minute of play. Emílio Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes Lagoinhas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vítor Marques who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SC Almogarve's Vítor Marques to fire away a dangerous shot which Emílio Pinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Alfredo Mendes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delfim Moreira skillfully saved the ball. Delfim Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute, Amílcar Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lagoinhas's zone, Eusébio Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Pinho came out of the goal and Eusébio Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lagoinhas's Emílio Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Mendes in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Bruno Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lagoinhas getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eusébio Leiria hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Eusébio Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 53rd minute Bruno Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, SC Almogarve's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Melo came free, but Delfim Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Moreira made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Paulo Lima sent off a good shot on target. After 64 minutes, Eusébio Resende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Almogarve and the Lagoinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Domingos Melo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delfim Moreira. That made the score 2-1 in the 74 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lagoinhas's Bento Ferro got a free kick in the 79th minute. Eusébio Resende might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Resende ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Delfim Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Almogarve's Fernando Vieira got a free kick in the 87th minute. Paulo Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Lima came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delfim Moreira could save by the left post. Emílio Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, SC Almogarve failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
