Manuel Paiva acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rogério Vaz. Nuno Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Rocha having to interfere. The supporters of SC Campia booed when Almargem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Amorim scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Paiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Nuno Rocha managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Almargem's João Luz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th minute, Hugo Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Paiva. Almargem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Adolfo Lima succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close.
