Raul Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Araújo in the 6th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Emanuel Trindade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Bessa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastião Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Raul Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Magalhães in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Mário Leite made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Vieira. SC Alfeizerao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If João Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Eusébio Assis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mário Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Vieira having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Sebastião Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Bessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastião Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Mário Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Vieira was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Manuel Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Sebastião Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alfeizerao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Alfeizerao's Afonso Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, SC Alfeizerao's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Leite came free, but Manuel Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Eusébio Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guirela FC and the SC Alfeizerao players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Afonso Araújo took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Raul Bessa to make any attempt to save it. 70 minutes into the match, SC Alfeizerao's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Leite came free, but Manuel Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Afonso Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Araújo got free with Raul Bessa in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Bessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Alfeizerao's Henrique Gaspar got a free kick in the 84th minute. Manuel Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Leite in the 86th minute of play. Mário Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guirela FC's Sandro Carvalho got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Guirela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Alfeizerao's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Alfeizerao.
