Gil Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Guarda in the 3rd minute of play. Gil Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Sousa in the 5th minute of the match. Vítor Sousa took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Sá. Gil Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lourosa's Afonso Carvalho got a free kick in the 10th minute. Gil Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Guarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Moreira in the 18th minute. Nuno Santos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Paulo Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Dantas in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusébio Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Paulo Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Paiva was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Paiva having to interfere. When Manuel Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Lourosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Moreira couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Lovelhe FC's Vítor Sousa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gil Sá. Gil Sá yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After some careless play in the Lourosa defense, Rui Guarda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Sá. The Lourosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Sá should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lovelhe FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
