Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xavier Esteves kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Calheta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Esteves came free, but Jorge Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Xavier Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the SC Repolao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Esteves couldn't finish the play. Nuno Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Esteves in the 15th minute of play. Artur Teixeira hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, António Dantas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Calheta FC's Jorge Alves. Jorge Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 21 minutes, António Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Repolao's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, SC Repolao's Xavier Esteves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Alves. Jorge Alves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Jorge Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Araújo in the 30th minute of play forced SC Repolao's goalkeeper Nuno Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when João Araújo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Ramos in the 36th minute of play forced SC Repolao's goalkeeper Nuno Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Repolao booed when Calheta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Xavier Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Repolao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. António Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Araújo to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes SC Repolao got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Coelho. Jorge Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 59 played minutes Calheta FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Rodrigues. In the 68th match minute, Calheta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute João Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nuno Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Assis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Repolao's Nuno Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Araújo in the 78th minute of play. Jorge Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavier Esteves went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Rui Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Ramos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Nuno Assis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Diamantino Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
