Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Encoberta FC's Sérgio Cunha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Emanuel Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Encoberta FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Garcia. Nuno Ferro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 9 minutes of play, Molares FC's Luís Ribeiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Encoberta FC's Emílio Moutinho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Molares FC. Nuno Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marco Vaz made a huge save. Rogério Porto came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Molares FC's Emanuel Faria. But to his dismay, Emanuel Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Molares FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Filipe Barros hit a great ball. A hard shot by Emílio Moutinho from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Marco Vaz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Molares FC's Marco Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Molares FC from getting a goal against them. Nuno Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Encoberta FC's Sérgio Cunha in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Molares FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luís Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rogério Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Molares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Borges came free, but Marco Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Porto having to interfere. Molares FC's Marco Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Cunha in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Emílio Moutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Encoberta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molares FC the free kick. 62 minutes into the game, one of Encoberta FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Molares FC's Hugo Faria got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rogério Porto. The supporters of Molares FC booed when Encoberta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rogério Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Emanuel Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molares FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Garcia hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Emanuel Faria came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Molares FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Faria couldn't finish the play. In the 79th of the match, Luís Ribeiro tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rogério Porto got in the way and made a wonderful save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Encoberta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Hugo Faria shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Rogério Porto made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Emanuel Faria sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Ribeiro in the 86th minute of play forced Encoberta FC's goalkeeper Rogério Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marco Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Molares FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
