Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mário Correia kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Cândido Aguiar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Bicos's Miguel Vieira didn't even have to move. 11 minutes into the match, SC Bicos's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Brito came free, but Miguel Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Guarda having to interfere. Manuel Machado scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Mário Correia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mário Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Guarda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Eduardo Amaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Bicos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxial FC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Eduardo Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Miguel Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Vieira having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Brito made a kick off. SC Bicos's Miguel Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Brito in the 52nd minute of play. Miguel Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Machado went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Alexandre Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Alexandre Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lucas Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Amaro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Guarda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Amílcar Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Machado went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mário Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bernardo Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Bicos's Gabriel Marques got a free kick in the 74th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Manuel Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maxial FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Mário Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, SC Bicos's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Brito came free, but Miguel Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maxial FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Guarda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eduardo Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Maxial FC got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Aguiar. After 91 minutes Maxial FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amílcar Antunes who took care of the corner kick. Maxial FC's Lucas Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Maxial FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maxial FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
