Bernardo Guarda came out of the goal and Eduardo Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Guarda made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when David Campos sent off a good shot on target. David Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Guarda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Bernardo Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, David Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pombeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but David Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Guarda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pombeiro had won after a very even match.
