Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mário Correia kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, João Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fragosela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, SC Bicos's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Leão came free, but Miguel Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, João Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fragosela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Araújo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Vieira. Miguel Vieira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. João Araújo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Mário Correia struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Inácio Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bicos. Eduardo Amaro in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Inácio Brás, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Miguel Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Araújo in the 37th minute of play. Miguel Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Araújo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Adelino Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Vieira having to interfere. Eduardo Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Inácio Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, David Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Brás came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bicos's Mário Correia. But to his dismay, Mário Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adelino Leão to make the kick off. Inácio Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Miguel Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eduardo Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mário Correia came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the SC Bicos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Correia couldn't finish the play. If João Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Correia in the 69th minute of play forced Fragosela FC's goalkeeper Inácio Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Mário Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bicos's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 74 minutes, Adelino Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fragosela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fragosela FC's Alexandre Anjos got a free kick in the 78th minute. The excitement rose when SC Bicos's Amílcar Antunes after 80 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Fragosela FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. In the 87th minute, Adelino Leão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Vieira. The goal made the score 2-2. After 94 minutes of play, SC Bicos's Mário Correia made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio Brás was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mário Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Amílcar Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bicos's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fragosela FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
