SC Aiao's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vítor Leite hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Gil Queirós struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Gustavo Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sousanil FC. José Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Amílcar Melo made the kick off in the second half. The SC Aiao fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when SC Aiao's Amílcar Melo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Sousanil FC's Álvaro Baptista got a free kick in the 75th minute. SC Aiao's António Ferreira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sousanil FC. Álvaro Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Álvaro Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sousanil FC's Álvaro Baptista got a free kick in the 78th minute. Gil Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gustavo Dias made a huge save. In the 85th match minute, SC Aiao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Leite to maneuver through the defense. Amílcar Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Barbosa having to interfere. A collision led to SC Aiao getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cristóvão Cunha hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, SC Aiao's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Carvalho came free, but Gustavo Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Aiao's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
