Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cerdeira FC's Oliveira Lisboa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Xavier Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerdeira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alexandre Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cerdeira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Pinho couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Nunes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Armindo Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armindo Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Cerdeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Martins to maneuver through the defense. José Antunes, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If José Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Cerdeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Martins. Alexandre Pinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Álvaro Veiga firmly grabbed it by the left post. When SC Tangil's Alexandre Sousa in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerdeira FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 minutes, João Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerdeira FC and the SC Tangil players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Álvaro Veiga made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Alexandre Pinho sent off a good shot on target. Álvaro Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Lisboa in the 43rd minute of play. Lúcio Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Alexandre Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerdeira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when José Almeida made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, SC Tangil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Martins to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Esteves in the 56th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cerdeira FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, SC Tangil's José Antunes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lúcio Pinto. Cerdeira FC's Lúcio Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Almeida in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cerdeira FC's zone, José Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Pinto came out of the goal and José Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Alexandre Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tangil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Tangil's Álvaro Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Pinho in the 86th minute of play. When Alexandre Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cerdeira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Pinho couldn't finish the play. Armindo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cerdeira FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Tangil's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Tangil.
