Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bento Baptista got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Tiago Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noval's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Óscar Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Américo Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Américo Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. SC Samaioes's Óscar Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Baptista in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, SC Samaioes's goalkeeper Óscar Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Branco. When Domingos Coimbra fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Samaioes's protests and gave Domingos Coimbra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Noval booed when SC Samaioes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Coimbra in the 25th minute of play. Tiago Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Óscar Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Noval's Bento Baptista got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute of the match Jorge Vieira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Jesus skillfully saved the ball. Bento Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Costa got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to SC Samaioes getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Américo Costa hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Coimbra made a kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 52nd minute when Bento Baptista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tiago Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, SC Samaioes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Marques to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Baptista in the 76th minute of play. Domingos Coimbra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but André Jesus made a huge save. After 85 played minutes Noval got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Moreira. Domingos Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Fontes's late challenge caught a Noval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Samaioes getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Filipe Fontes hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes, Noval's Sérgio Moreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Óscar Almeida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Noval reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Noval fully deserved thier win.
