Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Friastelas's zone, Filipe Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Dantas came out of the goal and Filipe Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 played minutes Colaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Esteves. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colaria FC! Diamantino Bessa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Pinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Manuel Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Friastelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Cunha couldn't finish the play. Nuno Miranda struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Fábio Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colaria FC. Raul Pinheiro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Bernardo Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Colaria FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rui Neto hit a great ball. Miguel Abreu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. José Pinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Cunha in the 40th minute. After 44 minutes of play, Colaria FC's Filipe Campos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fábio Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The crowd rose to their feet as Nuno Miranda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fábio Dantas. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. Manuel Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pinto having to interfere. Manuel Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Friastelas's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Miranda came free, but Fábio Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Bessa in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colaria FC's goalkeeper José Pinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Friastelas got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Abreu. Manuel Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pinto having to interfere. Colaria FC's Filipe Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filipe Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Colaria FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colaria FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
