Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Valada FC's Rafael Soares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Valada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Inácio Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Valada FC's Jorge Barbosa got control of the ball when Inácio Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Inácio Resende elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Cadafaz's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Soares came free, but Sérgio Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Daniel Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadafaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Inácio Resende dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorge Barbosa, 2-0. Valada FC's Jorge Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Resende in the 34th minute of play. Daniel Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jorge Barbosa made a huge save. Sérgio Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Inácio Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jorge Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inácio Resende to strike the kick off in the second half. Inácio Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jorge Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Valada FC's Rafael Soares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sérgio Pacheco. That made the score 2-1 after 59 minutes of play. Rafael Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Cristiano Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Pacheco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Cristiano Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Amaral in the 74th minute of play. Sérgio Pacheco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Soares in the 76th minute of the match. When Rafael Soares came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Valada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Soares couldn't finish the play. Inácio Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Barbosa having to interfere. Domingos Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Soares in the 92nd minute of play forced Cadafaz's goalkeeper Sérgio Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Valada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Torres to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Óscar Sá sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valada FC's Jorge Barbosa didn't even have to move. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
