Filipe Brás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Bessa having to make a save. After 17 played minutes, Mancebas FC's Eduardo Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sérgio Bessa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mancebas FC reached it. Sérgio Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Veiga in the 53rd minute of the match. Bruno Moutinho's late challenge caught a SC Pomarinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Moutinho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Bruno Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernardo Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Rocha in the 96th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Rocha in the 98th minute of play forced Mancebas FC's goalkeeper Fábio Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mancebas FC played a much better game than SC Pomarinho and deserved their victory. The SC Pomarinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
