Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when António Lisboa got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes, Sacoes FC's Pedro Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Borges came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sacoes FC reached it. SC Valpedre's Fernando Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Lisboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Lisboa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th match minute, SC Valpedre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Cruz to maneuver through the defense. If António Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Valpedre's Joaquim Pinho got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ricardo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Campos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of SC Valpedre booed when Sacoes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd play minute Fernando Silva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armindo Campos. 1-0. Fernando Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Campos having to interfere. Hugo Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Campos having to interfere. If António Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armindo Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacoes FC's Armindo Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sacoes FC from getting a goal against them. Fernando Silvas short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Armindo Campos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Cardoso made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, SC Valpedre's Hugo Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armindo Campos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Lisboa in the 60th minute of play forced SC Valpedre's goalkeeper Ricardo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Pinho charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Pinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Valpedre getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Joaquim Pinho hit a great ball. Rogério Lopess short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Ricardo Borges to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd minute, SC Valpedre's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filipe Campos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Armindo Campos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Silva's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Ricardo Borges made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Filipe Campos sent off a good shot on target. SC Valpedre's Fernando Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Hugo Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Fernando Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Campos. Sacoes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. SC Valpedre's Ricardo Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Campos in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Joaquim Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rogério Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacoes FC's protests and gave Rogério Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sacoes FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Valpedre.
