After 7 minutes, Gil Assunção mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Agrelo and the Bezerra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, SC Agrelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Assunção to maneuver through the defense. If Eduardo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Emanuel Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Assis's late challenge caught a SC Agrelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Assis helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bezerra FC! After having played for 38 minutes Jorge Sousa managed to get himself in a good position for a goal as SC Agrelo's supporters held their thumbs. Jorge Sousa was, after a quick turn, in perfect balance and slotted the ball in at the right post. The score was now 1-0. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Agrelo! The referee gave Bezerra FC a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rui Assis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Agrelo's Raul Moniz. 1-1.

The wind increased when José Mota made the kick off in the second half. Bezerra FC's Emanuel Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Carneiro in the 56th minute of play. If Eduardo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eduardo Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SC Agrelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Anjos having to interfere. After 66 minutes of play, SC Agrelo's Eduardo Carneiro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Anjos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuel Anjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Bezerra FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jorge Trindade hit a great ball. Bezerra FC's Emanuel Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Leite in the 74th minute of play. José Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Leite in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Anjos saved Bezerra FC from getting behind. Bezerra FC's Emanuel Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Leite in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Castro during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Bezerra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Castro to maneuver through the defense. If Bernardo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bernardo Leite came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the SC Agrelo fans jumped to their feet. Emanuel Anjos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Carneiro went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
