Francisco Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amílcar Tavares scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Moniz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Eduardo Carneiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Pedralva's Francisco Gonçalves. Francisco Gonçalves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Agrelo's Eduardo Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílcar Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Raul Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Luís Cruz made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Pedro Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, SC Pedralva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Gonçalves made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Eduardo Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Gonçalves came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Agrelo's Eduardo Carneiro. But to his dismay, Eduardo Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Francisco Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Carneiro in the 75th minute. Raul Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Tavares in the 77th minute of play. Francisco Gonçalves made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Eduardo Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. After 90 minutes, Cândido Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Agrelo and the SC Pedralva players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Cândido Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SC Agrelo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
