Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gustavo Pedroso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Resende having to make a save. SC Pedra's Emílio Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Pedra's Gustavo Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Antunes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. SC Carregal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joaquim Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Fontes having to interfere. Joaquim Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Afonso Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Gustavo Pedroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Carregal's Nuno Resende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Pedra booed when SC Carregal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Carregal's zone, Gustavo Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Resende came out of the goal and Gustavo Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emílio Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Resende having to interfere. SC Pedra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Joaquim Guerreiro scored to the left of an out of position Afonso Fontes, making the score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Guerreiro made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Cristóvão Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Resende made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gustavo Pedroso sent off a good shot on target. Afonso Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, SC Carregal's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Cunha came free, but Nuno Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomás Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Carregal's Nuno Resende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save SC Carregal from getting a goal against them. Nuno Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Cunha in the 85th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Gustavo Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pedra and the SC Carregal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SC Pedra's Emílio Cunha in the 91st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nuno Resende was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SC Carregal through an amazing save. Tomás Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Afonso Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Pedra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Carregal.
