Filipe Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vítor Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Estoril booed when SC Pedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Emílio Cunha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vítor Ferreira, 1-0. Filipe Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Fontes having to interfere. Afonso Fontes came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Estoril's Filipe Carneiro. But to his dismay, Filipe Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th minute, Filipe Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of SC Pedra booed when Estoril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emílio Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Ferreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, SC Pedra's Gustavo Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrique Aguiar's late challenge caught a SC Pedra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute SC Pedra were awarded a corner. Cristiano Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. SC Pedra's Cristiano Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vítor Ferreira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 48 minutes into the match, SC Pedra's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Cruz came free, but Afonso Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Estoril were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Emílio Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Emílio Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Cruz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Afonso Fontes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristóvão Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Heitor Alves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Pedra's Afonso Fontes didn't even have to move. Estoril's Filipe Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Estoril booed when SC Pedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estoril's Heitor Alves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Pedra. Afonso Fontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Cruz in the 74th minute. Gustavo Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vítor Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emílio Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Vítor Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Cunha in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Rodrigo Paredes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estoril and the SC Pedra players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Estoril getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rodrigo Paredes hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Estoril walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
