In the 19th minute, Vítor Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of José Mota. Senouras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vicente Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Cristiano Dantas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 29 minutes into the game, Joaquim Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lúcio Freitas made a kick off. If Joaquim Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cristiano Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Lúcio Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senouras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Pinheiro took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Dantas. Cristiano Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 65th minute Lúcio Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Freitas in the 67th minute of the match. If Joaquim Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Senouras FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eusébio Baptista hit a great ball. Senouras FC's José Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Freitas in the 74th minute of play. Senouras FC's José Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Senouras FC from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Lúcio Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Sousa in the 93rd minute of play forced SC Alpedriz's goalkeeper Cristiano Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Alpedriz eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
