Cláudio Valente ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cuxerre's zone, Amílcar Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Mendes came out of the goal and Amílcar Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
