Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rui Ribeiro got the match started through his kick off. Pedro Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Afonso Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Paulo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Afonso Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Povoenca's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes SC Povoenca got a freekick which was hit by Artur Moniz. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Pedro Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Laracha's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the game, SC Povoenca's André Setúbal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of SC Laracha booed when SC Povoenca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Amaro having to interfere. In the 31st play minute Paulo Campos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernando Amaro. 2-1. When Paulo Campos came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the SC Laracha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Campos couldn't finish the play. Afonso Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Paulo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Pedro Pires hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, SC Povoenca's Joaquim Lopes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Afonso Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Ribeiro in the 56th minute of the match. Rui Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fernando Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Afonso Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SC Povoenca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Paulo Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paulo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Povoenca getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Artur Moniz hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Rui Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Rui Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Laracha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Paiva having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Laracha's Paulo Paiva got control of the ball when André Setúbal tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, André Setúbal took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Paulo Paiva to make any attempt to save it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
