After a rather tough play, SC Feteirinha's Fernando Viana got a free kick in the 5th minute. Gustavo Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Cruz having to interfere. If Francisco Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Francisco Alves came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SC Feteirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Alves couldn't finish the play. Nuno Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Domingues in the 20th minute of the match. Francisco Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute António Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Adolfo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nuno Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Adolfo Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Feteirinha and the SC Porches players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes SC Feteirinha got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Pinheiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, António Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Porches's supporters rose to their feet, but António Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the game, SC Porches's Pedro Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Alves to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Borges got free with Nuno Neto in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to SC Porches getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lourenço Santos hit a great ball. SC Feteirinha's Nuno Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Domingues in the 66th minute of play. When Gustavo Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SC Feteirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Trindade couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Francisco Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Feteirinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. António Borges succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The supporters of SC Porches booed when SC Feteirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Feteirinha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Porches's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Porches.
