Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Domingues started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, SC Porches's Manuel Rodrigues got a free kick in the 4th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Sume's Albertino Amaro tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. António Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Porto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Albertino Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sume's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Domingues in the 16th minute of play forced Sume's goalkeeper Eusébio Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sume's Eusébio Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Sume from getting a goal against them. António Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sandro Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Dantas in the 21st minute of play. Sume's Eusébio Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sume from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sume booed when SC Porches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. Emílio Viegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Cruz. SC Porches's Sandro Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Viegas in the 44th minute of play. When Manuel Rodrigues was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, SC Porches's Manuel Rodrigues got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emílio Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. Sume's António Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Borges in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Albertino Amaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Cruz skillfully saved the ball. Emílio Viegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emílio Viegas ran back to his position shaking his head. António Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Cruz having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, SC Porches's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Viegas came free, but Sandro Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, António Borges notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sume's Eusébio Porto. Eusébio Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sume's Eusébio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Borges in the 70th minute of play. Emílio Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Cruz having to interfere. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Porches's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albertino Amaro was slow to take the kick. During this time Sume's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of SC Porches booed when Sume was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes of play, SC Porches's António Borges made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sume's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
