Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rui Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. André Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Padela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Padescas FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. André Figueiredo hit a great ball. The supporters of Padescas FC booed when Padela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes, Manuel Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Padela and the Padescas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Padela getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Manuel Freitas hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rui Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Barros. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Padela's zone, Rui Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Barros came out of the goal and Rui Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Carlos Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Pedro Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amílcar Pires struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Afonso Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padescas FC. In the 22nd minute Rui Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Pires's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Afonso Barros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Moura in the 30th minute of play forced Padescas FC's goalkeeper Pedro Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Padela booed when Padescas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pedro Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Ramos in the 35th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Padela got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Moura. Tiago Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Pedro Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Manuel Freitas made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Ramos in the 55th minute of play forced Padela's goalkeeper Afonso Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Padela's Manuel Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60thth minute of the game Manuel Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Padescas FC's Pedro Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afonso Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Ramos in the 67th minute of the match. When Mário Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Padela's protests and gave Mário Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Padescas FC. Diamantino Anjos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Afonso Barros. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Ramos in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiago Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pedro Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manuel Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, André Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 100 played minutes Padescas FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Paredes. Padela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
