Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Vítor Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Besoura's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 minutes of play, SC Besoura's Vítor Neves made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th match minute, SC Besoura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Besoura's zone, Cristóvão Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Brás came out of the goal and Cristóvão Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vítor Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Serro's protests and gave Vítor Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Vítor Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Neves in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Monteiro saved SC Serro from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Anjos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Vítor Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Augusto Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Cristóvão Aleixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
