Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Castro started the match with the kick off. Catarino Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Teixeira in the 3rd minute of play. Catarino Leal made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Hélder Sousa sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aveleiras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Luzianes. Inácio Matos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Catarino Leal. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Macedo in the 16th minute of play forced Luzianes's goalkeeper Domingos Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Cruz having to interfere. Rafael Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Luís Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luís Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luzianes's Domingos Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Castro in the 27th minute of play. Hélder Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Catarino Leal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Macedo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Catarino Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Luzianes got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Matos. Rui Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Leal having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
56 minutes into the match, Luzianes's goalkeeper Domingos Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Macedo. Hélder Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Catarino Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Castro in the 74th minute of play forced Luzianes's goalkeeper Domingos Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
