Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Azevedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gustavo Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Nunes went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Fonseca in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nuno Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rui Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Merlaes got a freekick which was hit by Luís Lopes. After recieving a nice pass, Regadia FC's Amílcar Teixeira tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paulo Nunes took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Ferreira. Gustavo Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the last second Gustavo Ferreira throw himself and got hold of the ball when João Azevedo in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 27th minute Filipe Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Fonseca in the 31st minute of play. André Lopes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Gustavo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Azevedo in the 38th minute of the match. Paulo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rui Torres fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merlaes's protests and gave Rui Torres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Rui Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Azevedo in the 44th minute of the match. Regadia FC's Rui Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Fonseca in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Filipe Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Azevedo went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Gustavo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Nunes in the 61st minute of the match. João Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gustavo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64th play minutes João Azevedo shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Gustavo Ferreira and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Azevedo in the 68th minute of play forced Merlaes's goalkeeper Gustavo Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Amaro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Merlaes's Nuno Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Regadia FC booed when Merlaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Nunes in the 82nd minute of play. Nuno Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Rui Fontes made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Delfim Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Nuno Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merlaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Merlaes's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Nunes came free, but Gustavo Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Filipe Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Regadia FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Merlaes for a fine match.
