Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Alfama's Óscar Sousa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Emanuel Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Sérgio Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Paulo Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Borba. Alfama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sirgueiros's zone, Bruno Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Borges came out of the goal and Bruno Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Afonso Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sirgueiros the free kick. A collision led to Alfama getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Afonso Teixeira hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Hugo Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirgueiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hugo Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Borba was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Nuno Mota recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lúcio Borges. Nuno Mota showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Nuno Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Mota to make the kick off. In the 52nd play minute Paulo Dantas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sérgio Borba. 1-2. Sérgio Borba stood somewhat misplaced when Hugo Borges came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 57 minute. 63 minutes into the match, Sirgueiros's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Torres came free, but Lúcio Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sérgio Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lúcio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Mota in the 68th minute of play. Hugo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78thth minute of the game Nuno Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sirgueiros's Lúcio Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Alfama's Nuno Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Alfama's goalkeeper Sérgio Borba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Dantas. 89 minutes into the match, Sirgueiros's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Mota came free, but Lúcio Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Paulo Dantas took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Sérgio Borba to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Mota in the 98th minute of play forced Sirgueiros's goalkeeper Lúcio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Alfama's Albertino Machado to fire away a dangerous shot which Lúcio Borges despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sirgueiros eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
