Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Aguiar got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Jorge Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Guerreiro was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. José Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jorge Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristiano Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. José Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfeiria's Jorge Aguiar in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Tangil's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, SC Tangil's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Aguiar came free, but José Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Cristiano Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cláudio Matias's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cláudio Matias made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Mário Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alfeiria and the SC Tangil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Mário Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, SC Tangil's João Assis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nuno Torres struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bruno Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tangil. After some careless play in the Alfeiria defense, Cláudio Matias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Freitas. The Alfeiria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Freitas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Aguiar in the 68th minute of play forced SC Tangil's goalkeeper José Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Aguiar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Guerreiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorge Aguiar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 69th minute. When Jorge Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Alfeiria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute João Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Basílio Mendes sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, SC Tangil's José Guerreiro got control of the ball when Basílio Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. José Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Basílio Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfeiria's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes of play, SC Tangil's Cláudio Matias made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Freitas was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Tangil's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
